On 27th June, Paul Ingram and Shahar Avin presented to the Royal College of Defence Studies. . Shahar gave an introductory talk on Existential Risks: what they are, classifications, risk and mitigation approaches through global governance; while Paul Ingram talked about military mission and the need to incorporate considerations of existential risk, using the management of nuclear threats as an example.
