On 21st and 28th October, Dr Clarissa Rios Rojas and the Simon Institute for Longterm Governance (SI) will be hosting a workshop to co-create a science-policy agenda on Global Catastrophic Risks.
As a part of the 'A Science of Global Risk' research strand, the Science- Policy workshops, will allow participants to familiarize themselves and understand each other’s needs in regards to their vision for the future of GCRs governance. The main objective for the first workshop is to build up an agenda that develops connections between GCR research and policy objectives, and that links to broader communities of practice. The agenda will seek to facilitate improved collaboration and the co-creation/co-development of GCR research in alignment with policy strategies that address the challenges of translating knowledge to action.
The outcomes of this initial workshop will determine the overall strategy for two subsequent workshops in April 2022 and September 2022.
