The Centre for Science and Policy, Cambridge University, have a new seminar series beginning this month on Climate and Sustainability in Multiple Dimensions.
The seminars will run on consecutive Thursdays, 26 February – 19 March, 17:30-19:00
at the Yusuf Hamied Theatre, Christ’s College, Cambridge. All seminars will be followed by a drinks reception.
The Centre for Science and Policy and Christ’s College have worked with Professor Charles Kennel, Emeritus Director at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, to convene this series of seminars.
The series will explore the cultural framings of climate change, to ask whether the human understanding of global warming has affected our response to climate change.
Each seminar will focus on a new topic with different speakers, including Professor Charles Kennel, Professor Susan Owens, Rowan Douglas, Dr Andrew Coburn, Dr Hildegard Diemberger, Professor Brian Wynne and CSER co-founders Lord Martin Rees and Professor Partha Dasgupta.
